Here you have it! The best chicken recipes for a crowd! If you have company coming over, you’ve gotta try one of these. Definitely.
We’re having a lot of friends and family over in the months ahead. I’m guessing you might be having company over too. If so, I recommend making chicken. It’s such a humble ingredient which gets overlooked for company. But it’s easy to make and truly loved by all.
Today I’m sharing some of my favorite chicken recipes that are great to serve company. Most of these recipes will serve a larger group (6 or more) or can be doubled or tripled if needed.
Grilled Chicken
Probably my favorite easy chicken recipe for entertaining is my Make-Ahead Grilled Chicken. It’s slow-roasted ahead of time and then finished on the grill just before serving. So easy! If your grill is covered in snow, you can absolutely do this one under the broiler. It will be perfect!
Baked Chicken Thighs With Tomatoes
Another favorite chicken dinner is this big pan of chicken pieces roasted with basil leaves, tomatoes and chilies. I’ve made it for very happy friends many times.
Chicken Stuffed Peppers
You’re going to love love love this one. It’s for Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Peppers. The amazing thing about this recipe is that you don’t have to cook the chicken before stuffing the peppers. You just mix your raw chicken with the other ingredients and stuff it in. The chicken cooks in the time it takes the peppers to soften. Another thing I love about these is that the peppers are slightly al dente in the end, which makes them a potential finger food. Pick one up and bite in!

Verde Chicken Sheet Pan Meal
This Sheet Pan Verde Chicken is so flavorful and so easy. I like to use it as the filling for tacos, but it’s just as good served over rice. If you’ve got a big crowd, you can double it and make it on two sheet pans. You may want to swap oven positions halfway through the cook time to make sure both are cooking evenly.

Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken Sandwiches
Slow cook plenty of chicken in advance and then let your guest assemble their own pulled chicken sandwiches. It’s so easy to get going, and the chicken ends up so juicy and flavorful.

Instant Pot Chicken Tacos
The pressure cooker gets the chicken cooked and ready to be shredded in no time. With salsa and other seasonings, these Instant Pot Chicken Tacos are so delicious!

Have a great day! -Christine xo
I loved this the first time I made it using brown sugar but tonight I made it with Stevia not realizing that the ratios are so different. A word to the wise, if using a substitute use a LOT less. We had to throw the whole thing away!
Good tip, Kelly! From the Stevia website, I found “For our stevia packets and powder, the sugar to stevia ratio is 8 to 1, so 1 teaspoon of sugar equals â…› teaspoon of stevia powder.” Hope that helps you in the future!
Hi there iam looking for a chicken recipe to take to the lake for a crowd. Of 9 adults I was looking at your pulled chicken,I would like to make ahead of time so I can take it frozen with me ,,and I don’t  have a slow cooker ,could I bake it low in the oven
You could absolutely cook your chicken in the oven and then shred it and mix it with sauce. Try the oven at 350F for 25-30 minutes, until it’s reached a safe temperature of 165F. We also have an Instant Pot version!
I am always looking for new ways to make chicken – I bookmarked this so I can refer back when I need some inspiration! Those Indian Chicken Kebabs in particular look so yummy.
Thank you so much for including me!
