With only three items to grab from the store, these Easiest Shrimp Tacos are a breeze to put together and so tasty.
Any night can be Taco Tuesday with my Easiest Shrimp Tacos! They come together in minutes, but are truly delicious and full of flavor, making it a perfect weeknight meal.
And if you like to keep a bag of frozen shrimp in the freezer like I do, you’re even closer to enjoying this tasty dinner.
How Should I Cook The Shrimp?
Since I almost always have a bag of shrimp in my freezer that are ready to be turned into a quick dinner, I often cook my shrimp directly from frozen. The shrimp also work great for the tacos sautéed in olive oil or butter with some garlic.
Of course, you can also buy your shrimp already cooked, grill them, or make them however you like best.
What Veggies Go In The Easiest Shrimp Tacos?
I love this Taylor Farms Southwest Chopped Salad Kit. It’s got shredded cabbage and carrots, pepitas, tortilla strips, green onion, and cilantro with a creamy dressing. Plus, I think it’s just the right amount of veg for 12 tacos.
If you can’t find the one I like, you can also get a coleslaw mix (with shredded cabbage and carrots) and use a creamy avocado dressing or a Southwest ranch dressing. It won’t have quite all the same components as the salad kit, but will still work great.
That’s all! You add your cooked shrimp to the tacos shells of your choice, top with the mixed salad, and dinner is served. That’s why these are the easiest shrimp tacos.
