Alejandra has two amazing blogs, AleCooks.com (formerly brownsugarandvanilla.com) and her Spanish-language blog PiloncilloyVainilla.com, which are full of delicious plant-based vegan recipes. We talk about how the staples of Mexican cooking (think beans, masa, and salsas) are naturally vegan, making it relatively easy to modify traditional Mexican dishes for a plant-based diet. We also discuss tips for keeping food and cultural traditions alive through cooking and through meal time rituals.
