Learn how to defrost sausages quickly and safely using hot water.


Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 and 1/2 lb. frozen sausages

Instructions

  1. Fill your sink or a large pot with hot tap water.
  2. Sealed in a secure ziptop bag, submerge the sausages into the water. Top with a heavy plate or something similar to keep it submerged and surrounded by water.
  3. Within 30 minutes, you’ll have defrosted sausage ready to be made into a delicious meal.
  4. Cook the defrosted sausages immediately.
