DESCRIPTION

Classic Taco Dip is a wonderful game day snack or party appetizer that is a total crowd pleaser. Plus, no cooking required so it’s ready quickly.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Measure the sour cream and cream cheese into a large bowl. With a wooden spoon, mash the cream cheese up a bit. Add the taco seasoning.
  2. Use an electric hand mixer to beat it all together until smooth and evenly colored.
  3. Spread the sour cream mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.
  4. Top evenly with 1 cup of the Cheddar cheese, then the lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and green onion. Sprinkled the remaining cheese over top.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
