  • 4 bone-in center-cut pork chops, 3/4-inch thick, brined if desired
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil

Optional Seasoning Blend

Homemade Pork Rub and Seasoning Blend

  1. If brining pork chops, follow these instructions.
  2. Pat the chops dry whether brining or not.
  3. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Rub 1 teaspoon of olive oil on both sides of each of the pork chops.
  5. Season both sides of the chops with the salt mixture or the Homemade Pork Rub and Seasoning Blend.
  6. Working in batches if necessary, place the pork chops in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  7. Set the temperature to 390˚F and cook for 7 minutes, or until an instant read thermometer registers between 145-160˚ F, depending on your preference. Turn chops over half-way through the cooking time.
  8. Remove from air fryer basket and keep warm in a pre-heated 180˚F oven.
  9. Repeat until all pork chops are cooked.
  10. Serve with a fresh green salad, roasted carrots, or mashed potatoes.

If you use the Homemade Pork Rub and Seasoning Blend, consider serving corn on the cob or potato salad with the pork chops.
