Meal Plan #11: Making Familiar Recipes
On Episode #11 of my podcast, TMI with Christine, I talk about how making familiar recipes and meals can make cooking more relaxing and enjoyable. The meal plan for the week is all recipes that have appeared on our meal plans before so that you can get practice at making the same things again. It’s a delicious plan that your whole family will love!
Day #1: Zuppa Toscana and Garden Salad
Garden salad of lettuce, bell peppers, and cucumber with dressing of your choice.
Day #2: Brown Sugar Chicken with Rice and Whole-Roasted Broccoli
Brown Sugar Chicken (Make double the chicken you need for your family to use leftovers on Day #5)
Rice (Instant Pot instructions are here; Make double the rice that you need to use on Day #5)
Whole Roasted Broccoli (Make double the broccoli you need for use on Day #4)
Day #3: Quick Frozen Shrimp and Asparagus Bake with Buttered Egg Noodles
Buttered Egg Noodles (Make double the noodles you need for use on Day #4)
Day #4: Oven-Baked Swedish Meatballs, Buttered Egg Noodles and Whole-Roasted Broccoli
Leftover buttered noodles from Day #3
Leftover broccoli from Day #2
Day #5: Sugar Chicken and Smoked Gouda Burrito Bowls
Heat up the leftover rice from Day #2 and the leftover Brown Sugar Chicken from Day #2. Put rice in soup bowls and top with chicken. Add shredded smoked gouda, lettuce, bell peppers, and cucumbers. Add a drizzle of Sriracha or salad dressing, if desired.
