How to Make the Best Garlic Bread

When I think of garlic bread, spaghetti comes to mind. But, I think that once you taste this garlic bread, you will start serving it with soups, salads, roasts, and more. It really is that good!

Buttery, garlicky with a hint of onion. Who can resist a piece of garlic bread? Not me.

And if you have the Best Garlic Butter on hand, it can be ready hot from the oven in about 30 minutes. Serve it with spaghetti, soup or as a snack alongside your favorite marinara sauce for dipping.

Steps For Making The Best Garlic Bread

STEP 1: Cut an Italian loaf in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter evenly over the bread. I find that a 15” loaf is the perfect size for the bread to butter ratio.

STEP 2: Place the bread halves buttered sides together and wrap in foil. Make sure that that foil is large enough to completely cover the bread including the ends. Some of the butter may melt over the sides of the bread. You don’t want it dripping all over the oven. Bake until the butter has melted and the bread is crispy.

STEP 3: Remove from the foil. With a serrated knife, cut the loaf into individual pieces and serve.

One of the best things about this recipe is that it can be made ahead of time. Just put it in the refrigerator after it has been assembled and wrapped and take it out about 30 minutes before you pop it in the oven.

Prefer to use your air fryer instead of heating up the oven? No problem, try my Air Fryer Garlic Bread for the absolute best way to do that.
