Breakfast is our favorite meal of the day. And on the weekends we really celebrate it, either by going to one of our favorite pancake places or by cooking something together in the kitchen.
When Produce For Kids asked me to come up with some healthy breakfast recipes for the fall, I knew that my family and I would have fun testing things out together on Saturday mornings.
We came up with some really tasty kid-inspired recipes. And the team from Produce For Kids came up with some more.
Together these make up a delicious set of breakfast recipes that are healthy and perfect for every member of your family.
The best thing about these recipes is that they’re not just for weekends. All of them come together really quickly so you can have a healthy breakfast any day of the week.
For instance, the Coco-Banana Overnight Oats are made the night before. All you need to do is spoon them into bowls and serve in the morning. And the Greek Breakfast Casserole is baked. Mix everything together and let it cook while everyone is getting dressed and ready for the day. (This casserole is great on the second day too. Make it the day before and then reheat portions in the microwave for an even quicker breakfast).
