DESCRIPTION

This delicious Garlic Parmesan Cream Cheese Dip is easy to make on the stove, as explained below. But there are also instructions above to make it in the microwave and in the slow cooker, which are even easier. However you make it, you’re in for a garlicky, cheesy treat!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz. shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. ground white pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. To a medium saucepan set over medium heat add the butter, cream cheese, and garlic. Stir often until it has fully melted and combined.
  2. Add the Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Stir until the Parmesan has melted in. Reduce heat to low.
  3. While stirring continuously, slowly drizzle in the milk. Stir continuously until very hot.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes to thicken a bit. Taste and add more salt and pepper, if desired.
