French 75

The French 75 is a champagne cocktail that you can make with simple ingredients like gin, grenadine, lemon juice, and of course champagne. Perfect for a Champagne cocktail bar or any celebratory party.

Champagne cocktails are sometimes thought to be girly drinks. But there are some that could totally put hair on your chest. This one, The French 75, is one of those. Or at least it normally is with its big blast of gin and very little else to dress it up.

Making A French 75

In this version, I’ve added grenadine instead of the usual simple syrup. It still has a gin and tonic feel to it, but with a touch of sweetness.

First, put two or three ice cubes into a tall glass. Add in the grenadine, lemon juice, and gin and then top that off with your champagne or sparkling wine to fill the glass. Use a lemon slice for garnish, if that’s your style.

And there you go! A beautiful and delicious Champagne cocktail in minutes.
