DESCRIPTION
This recipe makes about 3 cups of sauce, which is a good amount for a 1 pound box of dried pasta, cooked according to package instructions.

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, cut into small cubes
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz. shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground white pepper
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- To a medium sauce pan set over medium heat add the butter, cream cheese, and garlic. Stir often until it has fully melted and combined.
- Add the Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Stir until the Parmesan has melted in. Reduce heat to low.
- While stirring continuously, slowly drizzle in the milk. Stir continuously until very hot and smooth. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes to thicken a bit.
- Taste and add more salt and pepper, if desired, before adding it to pasta.
