DESCRIPTION

A delicious and festive bread made from store-bought or homemade pizza dough.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
  • 1 lb. pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce (canned or homemade)
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 lb. Brie, sliced and then cut into small pieces
  • Coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Coat the bottom of a 13×9″ cake pan with 1 tablespoon of the olive oil. Smoosh the dough into the pan pressing it right to the edges. Drizzle with remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
  3. Spread with the cranberry sauce. Arrange the pear slices in a single overlapping layer and top with the Brie.
  4. Bake until browned on the bottom and edges and cooked through, 25-40 minutes. (Look at the instructions that came with your dough or in the dough recipe to give you an idea of how long the dough you’re using will take to cook. Use that as a guide.)
  5. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Serve immediately or cool on a wire rack and serve at room temperature.
