It’s easy to make juicy chicken breasts in the air fryer. Just set the timer and forget it – you’ll have protein for a healthy dinner in no time.
Chicken is on the menu for dinner at least once a week in our home. It’s easy to throw together and everyone likes it. I switch it up with different herbs and spices for something different, and voila! Dinner is easy and healthy with some vegetables and a side of my roasted potatoes.
I often have chicken in the freezer, and I cook them from their frozen state all of the time. And when the weather warms up, you can usually find me grilling chicken. My only complaint with chicken is that sometimes it takes a while and it’s tough to get that crispy on the outside juicy in the middle texture.
So, I decided I was going to try cooking chicken in my air fryer, and it’s phenomenal. It cooks completely in 20 minutes – how’s that for a quick weeknight meal?
All I do is take raw, thawed chicken breasts and pat them dry. I drizzle them with just a bit of olive oil for flavor and season with salt and pepper. You can sprinkle on any herbs or spices you’d like.
It cooks completely through to 165F in 20 minutes. The chicken gets crispy around the edges but remains really juicy on the inside. That’s just the way I like my chicken!
