Italian Recipes with Seven Ingredients or Less
I love simple recipes that don’t use a lot of ingredients. Here are 23 Italian dishes that all use less than seven ingredients.
It feels like destiny when I spot a recipe to try and it happens to list ingredients I already have. It’s like we’re meant to be together, that recipe and I.
Today I’m sharing some Italian recipes that use only a few ingredients. This makes it incredibly convenient, especially when you don’t want to run to the store. All of the recipes have less than seven ingredients (not counting salt, pepper and olive oil. You can’t make Italian food without salt pepper and olive oil).
Two of my favorites from my site are:
This recipe for Pasta Carbonara. It uses only five ingredients and it’s very versatile too. You can swap out the Canadian bacon for any other kind of lunch meat or leftover cooked meat.
And this Chicken Parmesan recipe, it’s one of my favorites. As an added bonus, it’s done in the slow cooker. The trick to making it delicious has to do with how you cook the breadcrumbs. So good. I almost always have the ingredients: Tomato sauce, cheese, chicken and bread crumbs. There’s a bit of cornstarch in there too, to help keep the sauce thick as it cooks.
I asked a bunch of my blogging friends to share their favorite Italian dinner recipes that use less than seven ingredients. Here’s what they thought I and you would like.
I hope you love these easy Italian recipes. Have a great day!
