Last year for New Year’s Eve I told you how to do a Champagne Cocktail Bar. For that one, you gather together nine simple ingredients and from those ingredients you can make six different cocktails. Easy and fun – my two favorite words.
Here are the links to the six Champagne Cocktails I suggested:
For an even simpler Champagne Cocktail Bar, get the following:
Some inexpensive bubbly (Prosecco is a good bet);
Two different fruit liqueurs. I’d go with Grand Marnier (orange) and a raspberry liqueur (try to find something less expensive than Chambord);
One or two non-alcoholic syrups (Grenadine and a black currant are always nice);
A few kinds of fruits or berries (strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate seeds, lemons and oranges are all great choices).
Put the bubbly on ice and set everything else out on the bar so that everyone can mix in whatever they’d like.
Note: Non-drinkers and kids can participate in mixing up fun drinks too if you get some ginger ale and fizzy water. The syrups and fruits will be tasty stir ins.
Simpler Still: Choose one or two Champagne Cocktails from the list below.
If you don’t want to do a full Champagne Cocktail bar, why not choose one or two special Champagne Cocktails to try. Here are 20 delicious ones to choose from. To make your evening even more special, at the bottom I’ve included some links to food recipes that use Champagne. There’s a starter, a main, a side dish and several decadent desserts to choose from.
