Guacamole is usually made out of ripe avocados, lime juice and salt. Other ingredients like minced garlic, onion, cilantro and tomatoes can find their way in there. I’m happy with all of those things. Really and truly, guacamole is one of my favorite foods.
You can add all kinds of other things to guacamole too though. Since avocados have such a mild flavor, they can work as a base for different variations. For today’s recipe I added flavors from one of my other favorite dips, Ranch.
It still has all of those vibrant avocados mashed up in there, but for a tiny twist I went with ranch, lemon juice, and bacon. Yes. Wow. I know. It’s seriously good.
